Originally a publisher of limited edition chapbooks, Vintage Entity Press (VEP) was founded in 1985 with the goal of providing the world with thought-provoking literature that challenged social and cultural norms. Today, the press has expanded to feature innovative works by an assortment of poets, fictionists, academics and essayists who see the value in working with a small press. Collectively, VEP books are infused with concern about social, spiritual, sexual, racial and political issues. Vintage Entity Press writers foreground the experiences and contributions of people of color within the global community.
Vintage Entity Press approached LowGravity after working on several smaller projects together with the opportunity of creating a new website for the company. The updated version had to bring more life to the website and itâs functionality had to be better for both visitors and website administration.
In order to do that we have created an individual Content Management System that allows the administration to have full control over the shape of the website. Listing all of the VEP authors along with their books and the possibility to buy them online gave the company a more possibilities. The promotion of their authors and possibility to post blogs about the upcoming publications gave their readers a lot more than before.
